The Council also gives notice of changes to the Long Term Empty Property Premiums.
From 1st April 2024 the Long Term Empty Property Premium charges for empty and unfurnished
properties will be increased from the current 50% as follows:
Length of time property empty Additional Premium
Greater than 2 years less than 5 years 100%
Greater than 5 years less than 10 years 200%
Greater than 10 years 300%
