What is happening?

Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011 Closed church building of Bollingham St Silas Diocese of Hereford

The Church Commissioners have published a draft Pastoral (Church Buildings Disposal) Scheme providing for the sale of the closed church building of Bollingham St Silas for monument use and/or holiday accommodation and for purposes ancillary thereto. A copy of the draft Scheme may be inspected online at www.churchofengland.org/consultation and in the 'Community Notices Folder' at Kington Library, 64 Bridge Street, Kington, Herefordshire HR5 3DJ (during opening times on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and on the notice board at St Mary Magdalene, Eardisley. Large print and/or audio copies are available on request. Having considered the proposals, you may make representations either in support or against the draft Scheme by e-mail to matt.crowe@churchofengland.org or by post to Matthew Crowe, Pastoral and Closed Churches, Church Commissioners, Church House, Great Smith Street, London SW1P 3AZ. Please note that any communications received after 12th April 2024 cannot be treated as a representation. Where there are representations against the draft Scheme, all representations received and relevant correspondence will be published on the Commissioners' website.
