What is happening?

LEVELS OF OVERALL COUNCIL TAX 2024/25

The above named Council hereby gives notice that a Council Tax for Boston Borough Council was determined on 4th March 2024 uder section 30 of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 for the period of 12 months beginning on 1st April 2024. The amounts applicable for each category of dwelling and for each area of the Borough are shown below.

Discounts Exemptions and Disabled persons Relief - in certain circumstances it is possible for people to claim a reduction in their Council tax liability.

At its meeting of 4th March 2024 the Council further determined that, in accordance with Section 11C of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, for the financial year 2024/25, commencing on 1st April 2025, it will make a higher charge for dwellings which are occupied periodically. The amount of the additional charge will be 100%.
