In accordance with the provisions of section 11B of the Local Government Finance Act 1992, notice is hereby given that Mole Valley District Council, as the Billing Authority, did on the 20 February 2024, vary the determination to charge a higher amount of council tax (premium) in respect of long-term empty properties to charge the following:

Unoccupied and substantially unfurnished properties that have been empty for one or more years as at 1 April 2024:-

1 to 5 years 100% premium applied. 5 to 10 years 200% premium applied. 10 years & over 300% premium applied.
