SOUTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL

Public Notice –  Closure Of Biggar Caravan Park

The aim of this notice is to let interested parties and the general public know that Biggar Caravan Park will cease trading on 31 March 2024, for a period of no less than one year. South Lanarkshire Council has made this difficult decision whilst considering the current standard of facilities available at the site and the necessary investment required to address these issues.

During this time, the council will consider options for the future of the wider park, taking into account market interest in the site and the outcome of a public consultation on the park. Currently, no decisions have been made on what services will be provided at the park.

The council appreciates that many caravanners will have enjoyed long-term seasonal residencies at the site and apologises for any upset caused.
