What is happening?

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 Proposed Hackney Carriage, Private Hire Vehicle and Private Hire Operator Licence Fees from 01st April 2024.

NOTICE is hereby given that Luton Borough Council in exercise of their powers under Section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 have agreed to vary hackney carriage and private hire vehicle and private hire operator licence fees charged by the Borough as specified below:

The above variations will come into effect on 01st April 2024 unless otherwise rescinded or objected to. Any objections to the above variations, stating the grounds thereof, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by 15th March 2023.

A copy of this Notice is available for inspection, free of charge, at the Luton Borough Council Licensing Service, George Street, Luton during normal office hours.
