What is happening?

AAH Consultants, on behalf of Apatura, intend to submit a
Section 36 application for the construction and operation of
a 250MW Battery Energy Storage Facility with associated
infrastructure on land at Townhead Farm, Mosshall Street,
Motherwell, ML1 5LH
Grid Reference: X 278404, Y 659095
In accordance with the Energy Consents Unit Good Practice
Guidance for Applications under Section 36 and 37 of the
Electricity Act 1989 (July 2022), a final consultation event will
take place on 23 November 2023 (11am-2pm and 4pm-7pm) at
Newarthill Community Facility (High Street, Newarthill, Motherwell,
ML1 5JU). This drop in event is open to all.
This event being primarily about feedback to the public as to
the views gathered on the scheme during the pre-application
consultation however, if you wish to give your view, please respond
with any comments to: info@aahplanningconsultations.co.uk
by 9 December 2023.

All comments made to the applicant are not representations to the
Energy Consents Unit (ECU)/Scottish Ministers and there will be an
