COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2023
COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN
ROYLE BARN ROAD, ROCHDALE OL11 3DT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough
Council (hereinafter called "the acquiring Authority") has
made the Borough of Rochdale (35 Royle Barn Road,
Rochdale OL11 3DT) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023
under the Housing Act 1985. It is about to submit this
Order to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing
& Communities for confirmation and, if confirmed, the
Order will authorise the acquiring Authority to purchase
compulsorily, the land described below for the purpose of
acquiring houses, or buildings which may be made suitable
as houses, together with any land occupied with the
houses or buildings.
A copy of the Order and of the accompanying map may be
seen at all reasonable hours at the acquiring authority's
Offices at Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale
OL16 1XU. The Order and accompanying map can also
be viewed on Rochdale MBC's web-site at www.rochdale.
gov.uk.
Any objection to the Order must be made in writing
to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing &
Communities, Planning Casework Unit, 23 Stephenson
Street, Birmingham B2 4BH or by e-mail on pcu@
levellingup.gov.uk before 6th December 2023, and should
state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the
objector's address and interests in the land.
Description of land
Dwellinghouse known as 35 Royle Barn Road, Rochdale
OL11 3DT, together with land occupied therewith, being
137.83 square metres in area.
