What is happening?
AAH Consultants, on behalf of Apatura, intend to submit a Section 36 application for the construction and operation of a 250MW Battery Energy Storage Facility with associated infrastructure on land at Townhead Farm, Mosshall Street, Motherwell, ML1 5LH

In accordance with the Energy Consents Unit Good Practice Guidance for Applications under Section 36 and 37 of the Electricity Act 1989 (July 2022), two consultation events will take place on 9 November 2023 and 23 November 2023 (11am-2pm and 4pm-7pm) at Newarthill Community Facility (High Street, Newarthill, Motherwell, ML1 5JU). These drop in events are open to all.
