Wellington Square Ayr - Public Notice of Common Good Petition in Relation to Lease of Area of Land
What is happening?
COMMON GOOD PETITION
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE OF COMMON GOOD PETITION IN RELATION TO LEASE OF AREA OF LAND.
Notice is hereby given that South Ayrshire Council has raised a petition at Ayr Sheriff Court under Section 75(2) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 to dispose of lands forming part of the Common Good and to grant a lease to the Troon Water Sports Centre a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation for the area of land lying to the west of North Beach Road, Troon.
A court hearing has been assigned by Ayr Sheriff Court to be conducted by Webex Virtual Hearing, on 9th November at 10am. Any party having an interest in said Petition and who wishes to object, should lodge a note by email no later than 12 noon on 7th November 2023, to ayr@scotcourts.gov.uk setting out
(i) The name, e-mail address, and telephone number of the person who will conduct the hearing for each party and
(ii) A brief paragraph explaining the party’s proposal for further procedure.
