Statutory Notice
Expansion of Little Heath School onto an additional site at 22 Park Ave, llford IG1 4RS.
Notice is given that the London Borough of Redbridge intends to make a prescribed alteration to Little Heath School, Hainault Road, Little Heath, Romford, Essex, RM6 5RX, from 1 September 2024.
It is proposed to expand the school onto an additional site at 22 Park Avenue, llford IG1 4RS. This would create 70 new places, representing an expansion of the formal capacity of the school From 195 places to 265 places. The provision will grow incrementally, year-on-year, until the school reaches its new capacity in September 2026. Arrangements for admissions to places at the school will remain at the determination of the local authority and will not be altered by this proposal.
The London Borough of Redbridge has complied with all applicable statutory requirements to consult in connection with this proposal. At the conclusion of the notice period, a report will be presented to the Cabinet committee to determine the proposal. If permission is granted by the Cabinet, the London Borough of Redbridge will implement the proposal.

Interested parties are also invited to attend a public meeting being held at 18:00 on 18 September 2023, at 22 Park Avenue, llford IG1 4RS, where there will be the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
