Oldhouse Solar Farm
Public Information Event
ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) UK Limited invites you to participate in its Public Information Event on the proposal for Oldhouse Solar Farm, a renewable energy development, proposed in the Lewes District, approximately 1 kilometre (km) east of Ringmer, and 4.2km north-east of Lewes, East Sussex. The Site is approximately 44 hectares, sits adjacent to the sewage water treatment works on Neaves Lane, and is bound by Moor Lane to the east and Neaves Lane to the west. The proposed development will comprise the installation of solar panels and their supporting infrastructure. If consent is granted, Oldhouse Solar Farm will contribute to achieving Lewes District Council's goal of net-zero emissions by 2030, having a generating capacity of approximately 25MW; enough power to supply up to 6,350 UK homes.
We are committed to engaging with the community throughout the development process, to ensure local communities and stakeholders are given the opportunity to provide feedback and are kept informed of project progress.
The Public Information Event will provide the opportunity to learn more about the proposal, to ask questions or to comment on the proposal, and will take place at: Symons Hall, Ringmer Village Hall, Lewes Road, Ringmer, BN8 5QH.
Wednesday 27 September 2023, 2 - 6.30pm, Thursday 28 September 2023, 2 - 7.30pm.
