What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Haringey ("the Acquiring Authority") has made the London Borough of Haringey (27 Elsden Road, Bruce Grove, Tottenham, London N17 6RY) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023 under section 17(1 )(b) of the Housing Act 1985 (as amended) and is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities for confirmation and, if confirmed, the order will authorise the Acquiring Authority to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of the provision of housing accommodation.
A copy of the order and of the map referred to therein have been deposited at the London Borough of Haringey's offices at Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, London, N22 7TR and may be seen between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. An electronic copy of the order can be requested by email to litigation&corporate@haringey.gov.uk (Reference: Legal Services / AWP).
Any objection to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Planning Casework Unit, 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH or by email to pcu@levellingup.gov.uk before 15 September 2023 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
