Notice is hereby given that Uddingston Community Council has been instructed to proceed with an election in terms of South Lanarkshire Council’s Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils.
Any person on the Register of Electors, for the Uddingston area of the Community Council who seeks election to their Community Council, should lodge a completed, signed nomination form. The form should also be counter signed by a proposer and seconder, both of whom shall also be on the Register of Electors for the area.
Nomination forms are available from Administration and Legal Services and the council website www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk.
Completed forms should be returned to Administration and Legal Services no later than 4pm on Wednesday 8 March 2023.
A boundary map of the Uddingston Community Council area is available on request or on the council website and a copy of the Scheme for the Establishment of Community Councils can also be made available to you on request or via the council website. Contact details are as follows:-

In the event that more than 12 nominations are received, an election will be held at a future date. Notification of any election will be provided in due course.
