Connah's Quay - Variation of Premises Licence for Sunday Alcohol Sales and Holiday Hours
What is happening?
LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A PREMISES LICENCE UNDER SECTION 34
Notice is hereby given that on the 30th September 2026 Alliance Property Holdings Limited applied to Flintshire County Council for a variation of the Premises Licence in respect of premises Morrisons Daily, Units 4-5 Red Hall Precinct, Red Hall Estate, Connahs Spinning, Flintshire CH5 4TS.
The proposed variation is ;- 1. To vary the commencement time for licensable activities (sale of alcohol) on a Sunday morning only, to 08.00 to be consistent with the rest of the week. 2. To remove the Good Friday and Xmas Day hours from the premises licence.
Any representations by a responsible authority or any other person regarding this application must be received in writing by:- Chief Officer, Place and Growth, Flintshire County Council, Ty Dewi Sant, St David’s Business Park, Ewloe CH5 3FF or by email licensing@flintshire.gov.uk no later than 28th October 2026 stating the grounds for representations.
The register of Flintshire County Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the above Council address.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlimited.
