Notice to creditors and beneficiaries under Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925
Tarmac “B” Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”)

Notice is hereby given by the Trustee of the Tarmac “B” Pension Scheme, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustee is winding up the Scheme after securing the pension benefits for all members with Legal & General (“the Insurer”). Winding up simply means that the Trustee is taking steps to formally close down the Scheme. The Scheme will only be fully wound up once the appropriate benefits for all members have been transferred to the Insurer. The Trustee will also remain responsible for administration of the Scheme until this process is complete.

The Trustee of the Scheme wishes therefore to trace any person who is or was a member of the Scheme at any time, or a spouse, civil partner, child or other dependant of such person, or any other person who believes that he or she has a claim against, or entitlement to a pension or any benefit from, or interest in the Scheme. Any such person is required to send particulars in writing no later than 5 November 2026 of his or her claim or entitlement (together with full name, present address, date of birth, National Insurance Number, details of the period of employment to which their claim relates (where relevant) and the full name of the Scheme), along with copies of all documents which support the claim.

Details should be sent to: The Trustee of the Tarmac “B” Pension Scheme, Capita, PO Box 555, Stead House, Darlington, DL1 9YT.

Alternatively, you can contact Andrew Halliday, the Secretary to the Trustee, using the following details:

In writing: Andrew Halliday, Secretary to the Trustee, Markfield (Pension Trustees) Limited, c/o Anglo American Services (UK) Ltd, 17 Charterhouse Street, London, EC1N 6RA Telephone: 07776 246561 Email:

After the expiry of two months from the date of publication of this notice on 5 September 2026, the Trustee will proceed to wind-up the Scheme and will distribute the assets of the Scheme among the persons entitled to them, having regard only to those persons of whose claims and entitlements they have notice. The Trustee shall not, with regard to the Scheme or the Scheme assets so distributed, be liable to any person of whose claim they did not receive notice.

Important note: Any individuals currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme or who have already been contacted by or on behalf of the Trustee about this matter should not respond to this notice as the Trustee already has details of their claims and entitlements, which are being, or will be, met in full.

Issued on behalf of the Trustee of the Tarmac “B” Pension Scheme
