What is happening?

NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925 The Retreat, York, Pension Scheme

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Trustee of the Retreat, York, Pension Scheme (previously known as two schemes called The Retreat, York, Pension Scheme No.1 and The Retreat, York, Pension Scheme No.2) ("Scheme") is taking action to secure benefits with an insurer and is winding up the Scheme. If you have received a communication from the Trustee regarding the winding up of the Scheme, then you do not need to take any action. Any former employees of The Retreat York (company number 04325622) or an associated company, who believe that they were members of the Scheme and who are not receiving a pension from the Scheme or who have not received announcements from the Trustee of the Scheme are required to write to the Trustee at: Trustee of the Retreat York Pension Scheme, Vidett Trustees Limited, 3rd Floor Forbury Works, 37-43 Blagrave Street, Reading, RG1 1PZ.

Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth, national insurance number and the period during which they worked for The Retreat York or any associated company and any documents supporting their claim. Claims must be made within 2 months of the date of publication of this advertisement. In addition, if any person or persons have any other claims against or interest in the Scheme, they are requested to write to the Trustee at the above address setting out particulars of such a claim in writing within 2 months of the date of publication of this advertisement. After that date, the Trustee of the Scheme will proceed to complete the winding-up of the Scheme having regard only to valid claims or interests of which the Trustee shall then have had notice and will not be liable to any other person.
