Greenhous Group (2015) Retirement Benefits Scheme - Winding Up the Trust
What is happening?
NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
Greenhous Group (2015) Retirement Benefits Scheme
Notice is hereby given that the Trustee of the Greenhous Group
(2015) Retirement Benefits Scheme (‘the Scheme’) intend to
distribute the assets of the Scheme in order to wind-up the trust.
The Trustee has recently issued communications to all members
and beneficiaries currently receiving benefits or with a known
entitlement to benefits under the Scheme and wish to trace
anyone else who thinks they have (or might have) a claim
against the Scheme or an interest or entitlement to a benefit
under the Scheme, or its predecessor scheme, the Greenhous
Group (1978) Retirement Benefits Scheme.
Therefore, the following persons are requested to write to the
Trustee at the address given below on or before 11 August 2026:
• Any employee or former employee of Greenhous Group
(Holdings) Limited or Greenhous Group Limited (or any other
relevant employer who you believe may have participated in the
Scheme) who believes that he/she was a member of the
Scheme and who has not been recently contacted in respect of
his/her membership of the Scheme;
• Any person who believes themselves to be a beneficiary of the
Scheme as a widow, widower or dependant of a deceased
member of the Scheme; and
• Any other person who believes they have a claim against, or
an interest in, the Scheme.
Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth,
National Insurance number and details of when they were
members of the Scheme (or where they are claiming as a widow,
widower or dependant of a deceased member, when they
believe this person was a member).
After 11 August 2026, the Trustee may proceed to distribute the
Scheme’s assets and wind-up the trust, having regard only to
the claims of which written notice has been received and the
interests and entitlements of and in respect of those members of
the Scheme of whom they have knowledge.
The Trustee shall not be liable to any person of whose claim,
demand, interest or entitlement they have not had notice in
respect of the assets of the Scheme or any part of it so
distributed.
Please note that if you have received any correspondence
from the Trustee within the last six months then the Trustee
is aware of your benefits within the Scheme and there is no
need to make a claim.
