What is happening?

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27(1) OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
The NLC Passport Pension Scheme


Notice is hereby given to all parties who are or were members of The NLC Passport Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) that the Trustees intend to wind up the Scheme and take action to secure members’ benefits in full with an insurer.
The Trustees believe that all members of the Scheme and their benefits under it have been identified, and members announcements in respect of the Scheme have been sent to all members for whom the Scheme holds an address. If you have already received a previous communication from the Trustees then you do not need to take any action as the Trustees already have details of your claims and entitlements.
If you were an employee of Northern Life Care Limited and believe you were a member of the Scheme, or otherwise believe you may have a claim against, or entitlement to, a pension or any benefit from the Scheme and you have not received any announcements relating to the Scheme or been contacted the Scheme’s administrators, MUFG Retirement
Solutions, please post or e-mail notification of your claim.
Claimants should specify their full name, address, date of birth, national insurance number, particulars of membership of, or other claim on, the Scheme (including any documents supporting their claim) to:

please reference the NLC Passport Pension Scheme Claims must be made within 2 months of the date of the publication of this advertisement. After that date, the Trustees will proceed to complete the winding-up of the Scheme having regard only to valid claims or interests of which the Trustees shall then have had notice and will not be liable to any other person.
