Bramble Way - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BRAMBLE WAY, SOUTH NORMANTON
WHEN: 14 May to 15 May 2026 (20:00 to 06:00).
WHERE: Bramble Way, South Normanton from its Jct. with the A38 for a distance of 75m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate highway maintenance works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Access to the A38 - Bramble Way, Clover Nook Road, Birchwood Lane, A38 on slip, A38 (eastbound), M1 J28 Interchange, A38 (westbound). Access off the A38 - A38 (westbound), A38 off slip, B600, A38 on slip, A38 (eastbound), A38 off slip, Birchwood Lane, Clover Nook Road. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
