What is happening?
NORTH BRITISH DISTILLERY COMPANY LIMTED PENSION SCHEME (“THE SCHEME”) NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND BENEFICIARIES UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Scheme will soon begin the process of being wound up.
Any former employees of North British Distillery Company Limited (“the Company”) who think they are or were Members of the Scheme, or any other person who has a claim against the Scheme, are required to write to Trustees of the Scheme at the address below with full details of their name, address, date of birth and, if applicable, the period which they were employed by the Company together with any supporting documents within two months of the publication date of this notice.
After that date, the Trustees will only have regard to the claims and interests of which it has prior written notice and will not, in respect of the assets being dealt with, be liable to any person of whose claim has not been notified in writing prior to that date.
If you already receive a pension from the Scheme, or you have received any other correspondence from the Trustees within the last twelve months, you do not need to write to the Trustees.
