Ridsdale Pension and Death Benefit Trust 2001

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND BENEFICIARIES UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

Please read this notice carefully if you were employed by Bureau of Analysed Samples Limited or one of its predecessors and were, or think you might have been, a member (or a dependant to a member) of the company pension scheme.

The Trustee of the Ridsdale Pension and Death Benefit Trust 2001 (the “Trustee” and “Trust” respectively) hereby give notice pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Trustee of the Trust will shortly begin winding up.

You do not need to contact the Trustee if it has already written to you about the insurance of your benefits through a "buy-out", or if you’ve transferred your Trust entitlement to another pension scheme or arrangement.

The Trustee wishes to trace anyone who thinks they may have any right to benefits from the Trust and have not received correspondence by post from the Trustee about the buy-out of their benefits with an insurance company called Just Retirement Limited.

If you believe you were a member of this Trust, or believe you have any other interest, claim or entitlement to a pension or other benefit from the Scheme and the Trustee has not contacted you about the Trust’s wind-up, it is important that you write to the Trustee by 6 May 2026 at:

The Trustee of the Ridsdale Pension and Death Benefit Trust 2001,

XPS Group, PO Box 562, Middlesbrough TS1 9JA

Newcastle.AdminTeam@xpsgroup.com

Please provide full details of your claim and any benefits that you think you are entitled to. Include your full name, address, date of birth and national insurance number, and either details of the dates that you were a member of the Trust or the details of the basis of your claim along with any other relevant information and supporting documentation. Please quote the Trust name in all correspondence and, if you are not a member, please also state the capacity in which you are making a claim.

Your claim must arrive on or before 6 May 2026, at which time this notice shall expire. Claims arriving after 6 May 2026 will not be accepted and the Trustee shall not be liable to any person whose claim has not been notified to them by the expiry date of this notice. The Trustee will then, in reliance on Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, distribute any remaining assets and proceed to wind up the Trust.

For and on behalf of the Trustee of the Ridsdale Pension and Death Benefit Trust 2001
