What is happening?

EUROPEAN METAL RECYCLING LIMITED PENSION & LIFE ASSURANCE SCHEME ("THE SCHEME") NOTICE TO CREDITORS AND BENEFICIARIES UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

If you already receive a pension from the Scheme, or you have received any other correspondence from the Trustees in relation to the winding up of the Scheme, you do not need to respond to this notice. Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 and any other relevant power, that the Trustees are winding up the Scheme.

Any former employees of European Metal Recycling Limited ("the Company") who think they are or were members of the Scheme or, if such a person is deceased, the spouse or dependant of that person, who in either case is (or thinks they might be) entitled to benefits under the Scheme or any other person who believes they may have a claim against the Scheme, are required to write to the Trustees c/o Thomas Mason (email ukfmepensions@isio.com or postal address Isio Group, PO Box 163, Blyth, NE24 9GS) with full details of their name, address, date of birth and, if applicable, the period which they were employed by the Company together with any supporting documents. All claims must be received within two months of the publication date of this notice. After that date, the Trustees will only have regard to the claims and interests of which it has prior written notice and will not, in respect of the assets being dealt with, be liable to any person of whose claim has not been notified in writing prior to that date.
