Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003

Notice is hereby given that Massarella Restaurants Limited has applied to City of York Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Caffé Massarella, 19 - 23 Feasegate, York, YO1 8SH. The proposed licensable activities and their hours are to permit the sale of alcohol both on and off the premises Monday to Saturday 0830 to 1700, Sunday 1000 to 1600; opening hours proposed Monday to Saturday 0830 to 1730, Sunday 1000 to 1630. The Licensing Application Register can be viewed by prior arrangement with City of York Council Licensing Section (Tel: 01904 552422) at Hazel Court EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Representations to this application can be made in writing by any responsible authority or any other person to the City of York Council Licensing Services, Hazel Court EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS or by email to licensing@york.gov.uk. Representations must be received by no later than 4th November 2025, being within a 28 day period beginning the first day after the application is made. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person is liable to an unlimited fine on conviction should such a false statement be made.
