What is happening?

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION
OF A PREMISES LICENCE

Notice is hereby given that Star Pubs Trading Limited has
applied for a variation of a Premises Licence in respect of
premises known as the Rose & Crown 15 St Thomas Road
Chorley Lancashire Chorley PR7 1HP. The variation
proposed is to permit:- Terminal hour of 01.00 Sunday to
Thursday for all licensable activities authorised by the
licence, terminal hour of 02.00 Fridays and Saturdays for
the sale of alcohol/recorded music/late night refreshment,
start time of 09.00 hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday for

the sale of alcohol, amend opening hours, amend non-
standard timings terminal hour, amend closing time and

amendment and removal of conditions as detailed within
the application. A copy of the Application can be inspected
at the offices of Chorley Borough Council Licensing
Authority, Chorley Council PO Box 13 Chorley PR7 1AR

during normal office hours. This
application was lodged with Chorley Borough Council
Licensing Authority on 28 July 2025 and any
representations must be made in writing to Chorley
Borough Council Licensing Authority at the above address
no later than 25 August 2025.
It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003
to make a false statement in or in connection with this
application. Those who make a false statement may be
liable on summary conviction to a fine of any amount.
