THE COBHAM PENSION PLAN

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

Please read this notice carefully if you were employed by Cobham Limited or any other participating employer of the Cobham Pension Plan and were, or think you might have been, a member (or a dependant to a member) of the company pension scheme.

The Law Debenture Pension Trust Corporation PLC as the sole trustee of the Cobham Pension Plan (the “Trustee” and “Plan” respectively) hereby give notice for the purpose of Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Plan is in the process of being wound up and that its assets will be distributed.

The Trustee believes that it has the names and contact details of everyone who has a right to a benefit under the Plan. However, the Trustee wishes to trace any persons who believe that they may have any right to benefits from the Plan and have not received correspondence by post from the Trustee regarding their benefits being insured with an insurer. The Trustee requests that:

a) Any former employee of Cobham Limited or any other participating employer of the Cobham Pension Plan who believes that they may be entitled to benefits under the Plan, or if that person is deceased;

b) The spouse, or dependent of that person, who in either case is (or thinks that they might be) entitled to benefits under the Scheme, or;

c) Any other person who believes that they may have a claim against the Plan.

Please write to:

Please provide full details of your claim and any benefits that you think you are entitled to, and include your full name, address, date of birth and national insurance number, and either details of the dates that you were a member of the Plan or the details of the basis of your claim along with any other relevant information.

If you already receive a pension from the Plan, you do not need to write to the Trustee as it already has full details about your entitlements.

Your claim must arrive on or before 2 months from the date of this notice, at which time this notice shall expire. Claims arriving after 15 June 2025 will not be accepted and the Trustee shall not be liable to any person whose claim has not been notified to them by the expiry date of this notice. The Trustee will, in reliance on Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, distribute any remaining assets and wind up the Scheme.
