What is happening?

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 TRUSTEE
ACT 1925
SHERBORNE UPHOLSTERY LIMITED
RETIREMENT BENEFIT SCHEME NO.1
(formerly known as the: Sherborne Pouffes
Ltd Retirement Benefits Scheme)
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of
the Trustee Act 1925, (as amended), that the
Trustees of the Sherborne Upholstery Limited
Retirement Benefit Scheme No 1 (the (“Trustees”
and the “Scheme”) are intending to wind up the
Scheme and distribute its remaining assets in
accordance with the Scheme’s governing
documentation.
The Trustees request that:
• any former employee of Sherborne Upholstery
Limited (or Sherborne Pouffes Limited as it was
previously known) who believes they may be
entitled to benefits under the Scheme and who is
not already receiving a pension from the Scheme
or who has not previously received correspondence
from the Trustees about their benefits being
insured with an insurance company;
• if a person described above is deceased, the
spouse or dependant of any such person who
believes they may be a beneficiary of the Scheme;
or
• any other person who believes they may have a
claim against or interest in the Scheme,
should write to the Trustees at the address given
below on or before 2 months after the date of
publication of this notice to make a claim.
The Trustees believe that all members and
beneficiaries of the Scheme have previously been
identified. However, any person as specified above
or otherwise who believes they may have any right
to benefits from the Scheme or who believe they
may have a claim against the Scheme is hereby
required to send details in writing of their claim or
interest in the Scheme to the Trustees of the
Sherborne Upholstery Limited Retirement Benefit
Scheme No.1 care of Broadstone Corporate
Benefits Limited, PO Box 18713, Redditch B97
9AE. This should include their full name, address,
date of birth, national insurance number, dates of
employment, and copies of any relevant documents
and any additional contact details such as an
e-mail address and/or phone number.
Your claim must arrive on or before 2 months from
the date of this notice. After this date, the Trustees
of the Scheme will proceed to wind up the Scheme
among the persons entitled thereto having regard
only to the claims and interests of which they have
had notice before that date and will not, as
respects the property so distributed, be liable to
any person of whose claim they have not had
notice.
