What is happening?
NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF
THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925
THE ASCOT RACECORUSE
LIMITED 1974 RETIREMENT FUND
(THE “FUND”)
The Trustee of the Fund hereby gives
notice for the purpose of section 27 of
the Trustee Act 1925 that the Fund will
shortly be wound up.
The Trustee wishes to trace any
persons who believe that they may
have any right to benefits from the
Fund and who did not receive letters
from the Trustee in July 2022 and
August 2023 notifying them that the
Fund is being wound up and that their
benefi ts will be secured in an individual
policy with Aviva Life & Pensions UK
Limited (“Aviva”).
Any such persons should write to
the following address giving full
details of their claim and any benefi ts
that they think they are entitled to,
including their full name, address,
national insurance number, dates
of employment, and copies of any
relevant documents:

Any claim must be registered with the
Trustee by 30 November 2023.
Following the issue of the individual
policies referred to above, all the
assets representing the benefi ts of
all known members will have been
transferred out of the Fund. As a
result, once the date specified above
has passed, the Trustee will distribute
any remaining assets and wind up the
Fund without regard to the claims of
any benefi ciary of whom the Trustee
has not had prior notice and without
liability to or in respect of any person
whose claim or entitlement has not
been notified to it by 30 November
2023.
If the Trustee, or XPS, is already in
contact with you (for example if you
have received correspondence from
them or are receiving a pension) you
do not need to reply to this notice as
your interest has already been noted.
