What is happening?

The Whitgift Foundation 1974 Retirement Fund Notice under the Trustee Act 1925

This Notice relates to the Whitgift Foundation 1974 Retirement Fund ("the Scheme"). Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustees of the Scheme hereby give notice of their intention to wind up the Scheme and distribute its assets.

The Trustees of the Scheme believe they have the names of everyone who has a right to benefits. However, if you think you have an entitlement under the Scheme and have not already been contacted by the Trustees in relation to this, please send particulars of your interest or claim to the Trustees within the time stated below. After this time, the Trustees shall distribute the assets of the Scheme and complete its winding-up. In accordance with section 27, the Trustees shall not, then, be liable to any person of whose interest or claim they have not had notice at or before the time of distribution. Notification is not required from persons who are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme, or who have already received correspondence relating to the wind-up of this Scheme from the Trustees.

Interested parties should contact: The Trustees of the Whitgift Foundation 1974 Retirement Fund c/o First Actuarial LLP, Fosse House, 182 High Street, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1BE.

Particulars should include the full name, address, date of birth and National Insurance number of the claimant and either details of when they were members of the Scheme or details of the basis of their interest or claim.

Your claim must arrive on or before 22 November 2023
