The County of Cornwall (Newquay Road, Roche) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 28th August 2023 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Roche. This prohibition is necessary for works to complete tie in for new St Austell Link Road and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th September 2023 to 6th October 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Newquay Road, Roche between grid references SW 97992:61234 and SW 98439;60616.

The County of Cornwall (Par Green, Par) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 28th August 2023 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Par. This prohibition is necessary for works to install new culvert, as part of the STARR scheme and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th September 2023 to 22nd December 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Par Green, Par between Richards Fruit Shop and acess to Par Farm.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd October 2023 to 18th October 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Park En Vine, Wadebridge outside Copper Beach Grove to outside Park En Vine.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 4th September 2023 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge.
This prohibition is necessary for tree clearance works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th September 2023 to 22nd September 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for works to wall repairs and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th September 2023 to 29th September 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Padstow. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th September 2023 to 26th September 2023. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.
Road affected - St Saviours Lane, Padstow from the junction with Cross Street and Fentonluna Lane.

This prohibition is necessary for works to overlays and blockage clearance and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th September 2023 to 6th October 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 27th August 2023 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From North West Of Perrose Farm To The A3058 East Of Tresillian Cottage Newquay from Tresillian Cottage to the entrance for Tregonning Cottage. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to hole in road.
The Order will come into operation on 28th August 2023 and the works are expected to be completed by the 29th September 2023.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 7th August 2023 for a period of 21 days.
Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

This prohibition is necessary for works to realign kerb line and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th September 2023 to 20th September 2023. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for principle road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th September 2023 to 20th September 2023. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 4th September 2023 in exercise of its powers under 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Watergate Road Newquay between the access to Watergate Bay Hotel car park and grid reference SW 83967 64162, Watergate Road Layby for its entire length between grid reference SW84136 64763 and SW 84119 64690, Footpath 36 between grid references SW 84106 64598 and SW84097 64595 and Footpath 37 between grid reference SW84214 and its junction with Watergate Road, and Access to Trebulsue Farm and Footpath 38 for their entire lengths The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public during the Watergate Road Sprint.
The Order will come into operation on 15th September 2023 and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th September 2023. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0600 and 1900 on a daily basis, weekends included.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
