NOTICE OF WINDING UP OF THE PENSION PLAN
This notice is addressed to any persons who are or were a member of the Optical Surfaces Ltd Staff Benefits Plan (the Plan), or are a widow/widower, child, dependant of such a member of the Plan or otherwise a beneficiary or potential beneficiary of the Plan.
The Trustees of the Plan began the winding-up of the Plan on 2 December 2022. The Trustees issued a letter and announcement dated 12 December 2022 to this effect to all known members of the Plan in accordance with legislation.
A notice in accordance with Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 was placed in The Gazette on 18 May 2023. This can be viewed on The Gazette website.
If you have not received any communication nor seen the notice and believe that you have entitlement to benefits in the Plan please contact the Trustees at the following address:

You must contact us within two months and no later than 10 October 2023. Please give full details of your claim and any benefits that you think you are entitled to, including your full name, address, national insurance number and copies of any relevant documentation.
After this date the Trustees will secure all liabilities and in reliance on section 27 of the 1925 Trustee Act, distribute any remaining assets and wind up the Plan.
