Notice under the Trustee Act 1925
HEINZ 2000 PENSION PLAN

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 (1) of the Trustee Act 1925 that H J Heinz 2000 Pension Trust Ltd ("the Trustee") is winding up the Heinz 2000 Pension Plan ("the Trustee"). If you have received communication from the Trustee regarding the wind up of the Plan, then you do not need to take any action.

This notice concerns members of the Heinz 2000 Pension Plan only. If you have additional benefits in the Heinz Pension Plan, Heinz UK Pension Plan, Heinz 1975 Pension Plan or Heinz Management Pension Plan, these are unaffected.
The wind-up of the Plan commenced on 15 March 2023.

Anyone who believes that they are a member of the Plan, and has not otherwise received notification of wind up of the Plan, is required to provide details to the Trustee by emailing heinzpensions@capita.co.uk, or in writing to this address: Heinz Pensions Team, Capita Pension Solutions Limited, PO Box 555, Stead House, Darlington, DL1 9YT

Anyone who believes they have any other interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the Plan but have not received announcements from the Trustee, should contact the Trustee in the same way.

Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number, the period during which they worked for H.J. Heinz Manufacturing UK Limited (formerly called H.J. Heinz Company Limited), H.J. Heinz Foods UK Limited, H.J. Heinz Frozen & Chilled Foods Ltd or any associated company and any documents supporting their claim. Claims must be made within 2 months of the date of publication of this notice. In addition, if any person or persons have any other claims against or interest in the Plan, they are requested to set out particulars of such a claim in writing within 2 months of the date of publication of this notice.

Once two months have elapsed following the publication date of this notice, the Trustee may distribute the assets of the Plan amongst the persons entitled thereto having regard only to the claims and interests of which they have prior notice and will not, as regards the assets so distributed, be liable to any person of whose claim they do not have notice.

Please note that, if you were formerly a member of the following schemes you may have an entitlement under the Plan:
- HP Foods Pension Scheme
- United Biscuits Supplemental Scheme
- United Biscuits Pension Plan
- UB (Ross Young’s) Pension Plan
- Imperial Foods Pension Scheme

Please only get in touch if you are no longer a member of one of the schemes in the list above, and you think that you might have transferred to the Heinz 2000 Pension Plan.
