The council has the below proposals under consideration and is required to give notice.

Reason for notice: Major Planning Application; Would Affect a Right of Way to Which Part 3 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (Public Rights of Way) Applies Application No: 2026/01391/FULM Application Type: Full Planning (Major) Location: The Challenge Academy Trust, Penketh High School Heath Road, Penketh, Warrington, WA5 2BY Proposal: Demolition of existing school buildings and erection of new secondary school building alongside supporting sports facilities, car parking, landscaping and site infrastructure. Applicant: BAM Construction Ltd
