The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.44) Order 2026" authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway to the west of Gravel Lane at Wilmslow in Cheshire East. This is to enable development as permitted by Cheshire East Council under reference 26/0475/TDC.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO7310398-6405). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Wilmslow Library, South Drive, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 1NW.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 05 November 2026.
