T5, Ash: crown reduce by approximately 10%, crown lifting to approximately 1.5m above the neighbouring properties and outbuildings and removing all significant deadwood, maximum diameter pruning cuts of 25mm, removing branch lengths of up to 0.5m.

Proposal: T1: Birch - remove three lowest branches growing into the rowan on north-west side.

T2: Rowan - re-shape to leave a more symmetrical form to leave a height of approximately 8m and a radial spread of 2.5m.

Proposal: T3, Ash: crown reduce by reducing height by 2.5m, maximum diameter of cuts (MDC) 75mm, laterally reduce all aspects by 3m, MDC 75mm; remove major hazardous deadwood.

T4, Ash: remove major hazardous deadwood.

Rationale: T3 has become leggy with branches extending beyond the canopy, several branches are exhibiting excessive end weight and an increased risk of limb failure. The proposed reduction is considered appropriate arboricultural practice to reduce end loading and improve the tree’s structural balance, whilst minimising the impact on its physiological function.

Proposal: G1, Sycamore: crown lift over footbridge to achieve a 2.5m clearance.

T1, Birch: reduce south westerly limb extending over security fencing back to growth point approximately 2m from stem, diameter of cut circa 75mm. Remove north westerly branch, arising around 5m above ground level and extending over play equipment, back to union, diameter of cut circa 50mm. Reduce height by approximately 2-3m and reshape, maximum diameter of cut 50mm.

T2, Birch: fell to near ground level.

G3, Willow: crown lift to approx. 2m above play equipment.
