Liverpool City - Multiple Planning Applications For Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas

LIVERPOOL CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE

PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS & CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990

The following applications have been made to the City Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts.

26F/2936 - Land bordered by Marlborough Street/ Marlborough Place/Pickop Street, (3) Cusco Construction Ltd. Planning application to vary condition 2 attached to planning reference 20F/2902 (To redevelop site, erect single block ranging from 3 storeys to 6 storeys, creating 24 apartments (C3) comprising of 10 x 1 bed apartments and 14 x 2 bed apartments with associated cycle parking, bin storage and plant room) so as to remove affordable housing contribution and select financial obligations on viability grounds.

26F/2893 - 13 Newsham Drive (6) Applicant Vitality Care Homes NW Ltd. Change of use from dwellinghouse (Use Class C3) to adult residential care and support accommodation (Use Class C2), including internal alterations and associated works

26F/2892 - 11 Denman Drive, (6) Applicant Vitality Care Homes NW Ltd. Change of use from dwellinghouse (Use Class C3) to adult residential care and support accommodation (Use Class C2), including internal alterations and associated works.

26A/2890 - Liverpool Playhouse Theatre, Williamson Square (1) Applicant Mr Mark Da Vanzo, Liverpool and Merseyside Theatres Trust. To install replacement signage to the Williamson Square and Houghton Street elevations.

26L/2889 - Liverpool Playhouse Theatre, Williamson Square (1) Applicant Mr Mark Da Vanzo, Liverpool and Merseyside Theatres Trust. To carry out internal and external refurbishment works and install replacement digital signage to the Williamson Square and Houghton Street elevations.

26F/2662 - Land to the west of Knolle Park House, Beaconsfield Road (25) Applicant D Jenkinson. Erection of 6 no. detached Class C3 dwellings (2.5 storeys with basements), garages and garden rooms; communal building; security hut; internal access road; associated parking, landscaping, lighting and boundary treatments, including new and relocated security gates, accessed from Beaconsfield Road.

26L/2945 - Land to the west of Knolle Park House, Beaconsfield Road (25) Applicant D Jenkinson. To carry out replacement and restoration works to the boundary walls and entrance gate. 

26L/2443 - 1 Great George Street (1) Applicant James Harper, Homotopia. To display 1 no. LED sign for a period of 28 days.

26F/2900 & 26L/2902 - Unit 17, Edward Pavilion Albert Dock (3) Applicant Loungers UK Limited. Planning application to install plant and extract equipment with minor alterations.

26F/2730 - 76-78 West Derby Road (6) Applicant Jonathon Ball (Grantham WDR Ltd). To erect a 5 to 9 storey building comprising of a ground floor commercial unit (Flexible Use Class E and Sui Generis), 327 no. bed student accommodation (Use Class Sui Generis) with associated works including car parking, cycle parking, and hard and soft landscaping works.

Any comments you want to make must be received by 19th November 2026 and can be made online or in writing to the Director of Planning & Building Control, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH. In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, for a householder application only, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
