Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce:

Prohibition of Driving Except Cycles and Access
Baring Street, from Buxton Street northerly for 72.5m. Travis Street, from 5.5m east of Baring Street easterly for 28m.
The Orders were made on 26th October 2026 and will come into effect on 2nd November 2026. Copies of the Orders and plans can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester. gov.uk or inspected at the Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any provision contained in them on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may within 6 weeks from 26th October 2026 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
