Notice is hereby given that Westminster City Council proposes to make an order under sub-section 247 (2A) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (“the 1990 Act”), the general effect of which will be to authorise the stopping up of a 139.9 square metre area of the highway Derby Gate to be enclosed by fence and gates adjacent to the premises 1 Canon Row, 47 & 54 Parliament Street, and Richmond House: 1 Derby Gate.
The part of the highway that the order would authorise to be stopped up comprises extends eastward in Derby Gate from a pont 29.029 metres from the eastern boundary of the street Parliament Street to a point eastward along Derby Gate to a point 40.1 metres eastward. from that boundary National Grid References and global positions of the development are: 51.5013

The order and plan identifying the location of the highway proposed to be stopped up may be inspected free of charge between 11am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, during a period of 28 days from the date of this notice. Please telephone +44(0)7811238194 to arrange an appointment. Alternatively you may e-mail jperkins@westminster.gov.uk for a copy.
Any person may, within that period, object to the making of the order by notice to Westminster City Council, at City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, SW1E 6QP. Please quote reference E&C/ST&C/NC/JRP/202606048 in any such notice.
This notice is given pursuant to section 252 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
Westminster City Council granted permission for the development under part three of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 on 28 April 2026.
Details of the proposed development may be viewed on line at www.westminster.gov.uk then by clicking on “Planning Applications and Decisions” then “search now” then in Simple Search text box enter 25/00115/FULL then click “Search”.
