2026/1211/LBC - Beetham Trust, Heron Corn Mill, Beetham, MILNTHORPE, LA7 7PQ - Listed Building Consent to decommission and replace the existing deteriorated timber launder (the elevated water channel) that feeds the waterwheel at Heron Corn Mill. To restore full operational functionality to the mill while ensuring the long-term protection of the buildings fabric from water leakage. Works including deconstruction of the existing timber launder sections. Original ironmongery or brackets to be inspected, cleaned, and reused where structurally sound. Construction of new timber launder using larch, selected for its durability and historical accuracy
