(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable drainage repair works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists), from proceeding along that section of the C4026 Eskdale Green, from its junction with Randlehow, extending in an overall westerly direction for approx. 690m.
A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of the C4026, C4025, A595 and U4279.

The Order will come into operation on 2 November 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 week between 0900 and 1530 hours each day and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
