What is planned?
National Grid Electricity Distribution (East Midlands) Plc Electricity Act 1989
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application is being made by National Grid Electricity Distribution (East Midlands) Plc to the Secretary of State at the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989.
Consent is being sought to remove an existing tower and install a new tower with downleads to two new gantries, which will supply a looped point of connection for a 49MW solar scheme at Wistow Lodge PV, Leicester Road, Wistow, LE8 0QF (Planning Ref: 22/01133/ FUL).
Existing Tower AZ55 to be removed, new tower and downleads installed to new gantries within in the new substion.
The tower and gantry will be located at grid reference:
1. E=463769.617 N= 294849.466
2. E=463741.505 N= 294791.198
3. E=463769.543 N= 294791.170

SUCH OBJECTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED
BY 4 weeks from latest publication. Any such objections or representations will be copied to the relevant planning authority and the applicant unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not so be copied. If there is such a request then the relevant planning authorities and the applicant will only be informed that an objection has been made but no details will be forwarded to them.
