What is planned?

Notice is hereby given that the TANDRIDGE DISTRICT COUNCIL has received the following applications for planning permission, a departure, major development or which affect a listed building, conservation area, Tree Preservation Order or Public Right of Way. The application details are available to view and comment on at www.tandridge.gov.uk/planning, or comment in writing to Council Offices, Oxted, RH8 0BT. Comments should be made within 24 days of this notice.

2026/1014 - Development Land rear of 64 - 80 High St., Bletchingley. Erection of 8 no. houses between 1.5 storeys & 2.5 storeys in height, set around a cul-de-sac arrangement, with associated access, car & cycle parking, landscaping and amenity space, bin storage & boundary treatment.

2026/1083 - 54 Harestone Valley Road, Caterham.
Variation of Condition 2 (Plans) of planning permission ref: 2023/1490 (The demolition of existing flats to construct 2no. one bedroom flats, 2no. two bedroom flats, & 6no.three bedroom houses with associated parking & amenity space) to provide guarding to the opening doors on first floor plans & elevations of plots 8-10.The doors would also need to open inwards which reduces circulation within the bedroom. In order to best maintain the appearance of the approved elevation, it is proposed to swap the doors with opening windows.
