Hybrid planning application for:
A. Full planning application for demolition of Mayorhold Multi -Storey Car Park, demolition of 7no. storeys of Belgrave House and highway works (to include closure of part of Greyfriars and demolition of Greyfriars flyover and alterations to Greyfriars, Lady’s Lane, Horse Market, Sheep Street, Victoria Street, Wellington Street and Upper Mounts). Redevelopment for residential dwellings (Class C3) hard and soft landscaping including sustainable urban drainage systems, car and cycle parking provision.
B. Outline planning application (all matters reserved except access) for site clearance and phased redevelopment of land for residential units (Class C3), Purpose Built Student Accommodation (Sui Generis), mixed-use non-residential floorspace including Class E Commercial, Business and Service Uses, Class F.1 Learning and Non-Residential Institutions, F2 Learning and Non-residential Institutions and Sui Generis (Live Performance Venues, Food or Drinking Establishment uses), hard and soft landscaping including sustainable urban drainage systems, car and cycle parking provision and formation of new pedestrian routes and open space.
Major Application.
The application is accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment. The application site is situated within a Conservation Area. Application affects the setting of a Listed Building.
I give notice that ECF (General Partner) Limited has applied to West Northamptonshire Council for Outline Planning Permission (Major) for the above development.
Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, plans and other documents submitted with it via the Online Planning Register on the Council’s website (www.westnorthants.gov.uk/planning-comments), which will also tell you the current status of the application together with other useful information.
Members of the public may obtain copies of the environment statement from: CBRE, 1st Floor, 3 Chamberlain Square, Paradise, Birmingham, B3 3AX, at a charge of £170.00 for a hardcopy, or free of charge a downloadable file provided by email. Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should do so by within 30 days to guarantee that they are considered. You can submit comments via the Council’s website (www.westnorthants. gov.uk/planning-comments). Comments can also be made in writing to the Council at the above address quoting the application number and clearly stating whether it is in objection, support or commenting on the application. All comments received will become background papers (as defined in the Access to Information Act 1985) and accordingly will be available for public inspection and may be read by others, including the applicant. The Council will not consider any anonymous letters or emails that make representations on applications.
