NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
I give notice that Viridor Oxfordshire Ltd, Middleton Stoney Road, Ardley, OX27 7AA is applying to Oxfordshire County Council for planning permission: Section 73 application to continue the development permitted by planning permission MW.0096/22 (the construction and operation of an energy from waste and combined heat and power facility together with associated office, visitor centre and bottom ash recycling facilities, new access road and weighbridge facilities and the continuation of landfill operations and landfill gas utilisation with consequent amendments to the phasing and final restoration landform of the landfill surface, water attenuation features and improvements to the existing household waste recycling centre), to amend Conditions 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 19, 25, 28, 29, 30, 40, 46 and 67 to increase the permitted annual throughput of waste from 378,000 tonnes per annum to 443,000 tonnes per annum, amend HGV delivery hours, revise the approved landfill restoration and surface water drainage schemes, install associated boundary fencing and gates, and extend the restoration completion date from 31st December 2026 to 31st December 2028 at Ardley Energy Recovery Facility, Middleton Stoney Road, Ardley, Oxfordshire, OX27 7AA and that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.

The decision notice will be available online once the application has been decided.
NOTE Consideration of the development may take place in public and representations may be published. The proposal may be considered by the Council’s Planning & Regulation Committee (Only comments relating to planning issues will be taken into account when reaching a decision).
