The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.39) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a northern part width of Kenyons Lane comprising of highway verge at Lydiate, in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton. This is to enable development as permitted by Sefton Council under reference DC/2021/00887.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO3965522). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Maghull Library, King George V Recreation Ground, Hall Lane, Liverpool, Merseyside, L31 7BB.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 8 October 2026.
