The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.37) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of a length of unnamed highway as lies to the rear of 18-28 Barnhill Street at Manchester, in the City of Manchester.
This is to enable development as permitted by Manchester City Council under reference 143777/FO/2025.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/6120). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Hulme High Street Library, Hulme High Street, Manchester, M15 5NN.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 8 October 2026.
