THE PLANNING MANAGER GIVES NOTICE THAT FURTHER ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION (FEI) AND AMENDED DOCUMENTATION/PLANS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY THE COUNCIL IN RELATION TO THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION:

Application Ref: 2025/0267
Applicant: Peter Rowe - Cubico UK Development Limited
Proposal: Construction and operation of 12 wind turbines with a maximum height to the tip of the blade of 180 metres (above ground level), together with associated ancillary infrastructure comprising crane pads and hardstandings; new access tracks; improvement and widening works to Scout Road; onsite substation; underground electrical infrastructure and cabling; fencing and boundary treatments; external lighting; drainage infrastructure; habitat and moorland restoration works; public right of way works; landscaping; temporary construction compound and staging area; underground electrical grid connection to the Rossendale Bulk Supply Point; and associated engineering works; alongside the retention of and improvements to existing access tracks associated with the existing Scout Moor Wind Farm (Further Environmental Information).

This Application May Affect a Public Right Of Way To Which Part 3 Of The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Applies

This is a Major Applications as deemed by the Planning Act
The application would not accord with the provisions of the development plan; it would, in the opinion of the Council affect the setting of a Listed Building; and would, in the opinion of the Council affect the character or appearance of a Conservation Area

This is EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Development, and an Environmental Statement (ES) and Further Environmental Information (FEI) have been submitted as part of the application.
