PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2026
The above Order made on 22 September 2026 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will divert the full length and width of Goole Footpath No 9 some 570 metres in length commencing on the southern boundary of the M62 at Grid Reference SE 7277 2436 and leading southerly to Grid Reference SE 7275 2379 to a line some 1154 metres in length commencing at West Park at Grid Reference SE 7292 2447 and leading south-westerly for some 902 metres to Grid Reference SE 7226 2387 then southerly and east-south-easterly for some 252 metres to Grid Reference SE 7240 2375, as shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Beverley Customer Service Centre, Champney Treasure House, Champney Road, Beverley, HU17 8HE and Goole Customer Service Centre, Goole Library, Carlisle Street, Goole, DN14 5DS and can be viewed during normal opening hours Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of Five pounds (£5.00).
Any representations or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Interim Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Legal, Governance and Democratic Services), East Riding of Yorkshire Council, County Hall, Beverley, HU17 9BA so as to be received by him not later than 5pm on 30 October 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the order or if any so made are withdrawn, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs any representations or objections which have been duly made and not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
