Notice is hereby given that Tarmac Aggregates Limited is applying for planning permission for Full planning application for the provision of an aggregate wash plant for the production of recycled aggregate; a ready-mix concrete plant; a concrete block plant; a leachate plant and associated biomethane injection plant; gas reciprocating engines with carbon capture technology (up to 12MW); up to 23MW solar photovoltaic array; up to 10MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS); an electric HGV and biogas refuelling facility; change of use of the existing composting plant to a solid recovered fuel (SRF) plant; provision of an office building (Use Class E); green infrastructure including landfill restoration; associated infrastructure including drainage and utilities; demolition of existing structures at Shawell Quarry, Gibbet Lane, Shawell, LE17 6AA. This application affects public rights of way including X27/1, X26/1 and X26/2. The application may be inspected at:

The latest date the application will be available for inspection will be 32 days from the date of this press notice.
