GODSTONE GREEN COMMON, SURREY
Godstone Parish Council has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006/ section 23(2) of the National Trust Act 1971 to carry out restricted works on Godstone Green Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.
The proposed works are:
i. to install an Outdoor Gym, with a footprint of 66m2 comprising 7 (seven) pieces of outdoor gym equipment with rubber mulch surfacing. The surfacing and any kerbing will be laid level with the grass.
ii.The works will be located in the area beside the Sports Pavilion and in front of the children’s playground on the east side of the green when viewed from the A25 (Godstone Road).
A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Godstone Parish Council, Parish Office, The Bounty, Godstone Green, Godstone, Surrey, RH9 8DY during normal office hours until 21st October 2026.
